Grove Creek Raceway In racing action for Saturday, July 10, Matt Weisman of South Haven battled with several cars in the most exciting race of the night to take third place in the first heat of the Wissota Midwest Modifieds. Dustin Johanneck of Watkins went to the back after being charged with a yellow early in the race. He blazed through the pack in the last lap to finish fourth in the feature. In Pure Stocks, Tiffany Maus of South Haven placed second in the first heat, and ran a strong fourth in the feature. I-94 Raceway Eugene Dick of Watkins competed at the I-94 Speedway in the ASA Super Late Models and made a late race run pay off, taking second in the feature. Dick placed first in the Fast Dash, and fifth in the Fast Qualifiers with a time of 17.32 seconds. In the Great North Legends action Ray Walker of Kimball placed fifth in the third heat. Jamie Walker of Kimball took fifth place in the Fast Dash and sixth in the Fast Qualifiers with a time of 19.51 seconds. Grove Creek Raceway is located six miles west of Litchfield on Highway 12.
