In racing action at Grove Creek Raceway Saturday, July 24, Matt Weisman of South Haven capped-off two good runs in the Wissota Midwest Modifieds. Weisman took second in the second heat and placed fifth in the feature. Ryan Canon of Clearwater participated in the Wissota Modifieds and took third place in the second heat. Canon put pressure on the leader during the feature to take second place in the 16-car race. Canon is locked in a tight battle with two other drivers for the Wissota Modified points lead.
