Harold Sietsema of Watkins died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at the Paynesville Hospital. He was 96.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Kimball United Methodist Church in Kimball. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Milford Cemetery in Milford, Iowa.
Harold Raymond Sietsema was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Sprit Lake, Iowa, to Raymond and Charlotte (Glade) Sietsema. Jan. 8, 1944, Harold was united in marriage to Marilyn Hamilton and they were blessed with three children. He enjoyed sports, playing cards, traveling, and camping.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn; son Terry Ray Sietsema; brother Glade Sietsema; sisters Wilma Seidel and Rebecca Stinogel.
He is survived by his children Suzanne (and Bob) Lindbloom of Richmond, Minn., Rodney (and Joy) Sietsema of Lindstrom, Minn., grandchildren Jeff (and Sara) Lindbloom, Brian Lindbloom, Ana (and Mark) Hulzebos, and Glade Sietsema; great-grandchildren Abby Lindbloom, Kaja and Liara Lulzebos, and Blake and Grant Tylutki.
The family would especially like to thank the entire staff at Garden View at Hilltop and Paynesville Hospital for the wonderful and loving care given to Harold.
