Helen A. Rosha of St. Augusta died on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 85. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta, followed by burial in the parish cemetery. Friends visited from 4-9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, and for one our prior to the service. Helen was born on May 6, 1917, in New Munich to Peter and Mary (Froehler) Rademacher. She married Walter Rosha on May 2, 1939, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. She lived all of her married life in St. Augusta raising her children and working on the family farm. She loved quilting and her quilts are treasured by her family. Helen was a member of St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic Church and Christian Women for more than sixty years. She was a loving wife and mother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; great-granddaughter Allison Athman; brother Leo; sisters Della Overman, Irma Schulte and Johanne Niehoff; son-in-law James Kieke; and daughter-in-law Marilyn Pietron. She is survived by her husband Walter of St. Augusta; her children Patricia Rosha of Sauk Rapids; Lloyd (and Doris) Rosha of St. Augusta; Roslyn Kieke of Zimmerman; Maureen (and Roger) Athman of Mayhew Lake; Ken Rosha of Clearwater; and Chuck (and Diane) Rosha of St. Augusta; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Theresa Kraemer of Melrose; brother Donald (and Lee) Rademacher of South St. Paul; and close family friend Harold Hoffman of Sauk Rapids. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home of St. Cloud.
