The Eden Valley Patriotic Quilters are in need of assistance. This group of quilters has been active for eight years, and during that time they have created 600 quilts for area veterans.
With the closing of JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts stores, they are forced to purchase materials at more expensive locations. This is where you can help.
They need the following items:
• Red, white, and blue plain or patterned fabric (must be cotton or flannel). Quilters: Check your stash! We all know you have some.
• Financial help so they can purchase material, batting, thread, etc.
• Love to quilt? You can help! The group meets at the Eden Valley American Legion on the first Friday of every month to sew and assemble quilts.
This group is not a 501c3, but just a very dedicated group of volunteers who do what they love to honor our Veterans. Call Vicki Peschon at (320) 221-0777. We can arrange to pick up any contributed items.
