With the arrival of spring this week we thought we would try out our green thumbs. We planted a basil plant in a starter pot. We will see if our thumbs turn green in a few weeks. The smell of banana bread and cherry pie baking this week made it feel like we were at Grandma’s house again. We are busy with more decorating. Our window drapes have arrived for the north end windows. They sure give the rooms an added lift. The beauty shop supplies have been arriving and are being put into place. We look forward to having the shop ready soon. Ginny has been putting up more pictures and wall hangings making it look warm and cozy. Stop by our exhibit booth at the upcoming Kimball Business & Community Expo from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. this Saturday, March 27, at the Kimball Area High School. We will be available to answer any questions you may have about assisted living for your loved one. You can have your blood pressure checked for free, and you can sign up to win one of our prize drawings. Stop in at Heritage House for coffee and dessert on Thursdays from 2-3 p.m. Visit us on the Web for more information at www.heritagehouseofmn.com.
