We had a great turnout for our free root beer floats offered Sunday, Aug. 15, as part of Kimball Days. More than 200 root beer floats were enjoyed by area residents. We would like to thank everyone for touring our facility and learning more about Heritage House. Our gift certificate winners are as follows. Bob Winter won a $50 certificate for Knaus Sausage House; Laverne Winter won $25 for Stanley’s Family Restaurant; Joe Pauly won $25 for Schmidty’s Kimball Conoco; Sherrill Smith and Paul Anderson each won $25 certificates for Gohmann’s SuperValu; and Rachel Stein won $25 for Hair Do’s Family Hair Care. We would like to thank Mickey Fischer for allowing our residents to ride in his convertible in the Grande Day Parade. A big thanks to Sheila Hinkemeyer for driving in the parade and making it a fun-filled event for our residents.
