Our residents enjoyed a Caribbean-themed supper last week with a menu of fettuccini with shrimp, baby glazed carrots, dinner rolls, and coconut cream pie for dessert. The Caribbean theme also included centerpieces with brightly colored fish floating in lighted candle bowls. The experience was festive with Caribbean music playing in the background and bright, colorful flowers placed around the dining area. The residents were great participants by wearing tropical-flowered shirts and leis. In addition to the daily activities, we plan to host international suppers several times each month. We also plan to have some candlelight dinners to enhance the resident’s dining experience. Heritage House of Kimball is proud to sponsor Kayla Hinkemeyer as a queen candidate for the Fair Haven Old Settlers celebration this Saturday, June 26. Kayla is the daughter of Sheila Hinkemeyer, who is employed at Heritage House. Good luck, Kayla.
