Beginning late Tuesday, Sept. 8, motorists traveling on 9th Avenue between 4th Street and St. Germain will encounter a traffic switch from the southbound lanes onto the newly constructed northbound lanes of 9th Avenue.
Milling of the intersection of 8th Avenue and 1st Street South begins Wednesday, September 9. Motorists will travel on a gravel surface until it is closed again for utility and surface work later this month.
Motorists who use the city/public parking lot and St. Mary’s Church private parking lot can access them by traveling on northbound 9th Avenue to 1st Street South.
