Injury crash

At about 7:11 p.m. Monday, May 12, the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a crash near the intersection of CSAH 17 and 360th Street in Forest Prairie Township.

A pickup truck driven by Jerome Kuechle, 77 of rural Watkins, was located off the roadway having sustained heavy damage believed to be from the vehicle rolling over. The driver and sole occupant were transported to CentraCare Paynesville Hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor, and the incident remains under investigation.
