The Watkins Lions hosted the 7th annual Watkins Easter Egg Hunt Saturday afternoon, April 8. The weather was ideal: not too hot or cold, just a little breezy. More than 4,500 Easter Eggs were filled in preparation for the gathering (pun intended). This year’s event was sponsored by the Lions, Bud’s Bar, Red Goat Bar & Grill, and the EV-W Voice and Tri-County News. Between the eggs and the prizes afterward, hundreds of kids were very happy.
