The Kimball School Board held their Wednesday, Jan. 18, board meeting at 6 p.m.
The board nominated officers: K. Helgeson Chair, E. Helgeson Vice Chair, Gallagher Clerk, and Mahlum Treasurer. They also accepted a part-time custodian resignation, hired two junior high basketball coaches and a paraprofessional.
Principals reported on student life at the high school, overview of business visits, new app coming for parents, assessments at the elementary, Achievement and Integration plan coming to February meeting, I Love to Read month, current enrollment, upcoming Sweetheart Dance, upcoming Kindergarten and Preschool registration nights, the upcoming professional development day activities, and construction plans. The superintendent reported on MSBA trainings, construction update, board listening sessions, school staffing process for 23-24 school year, and 2023-2024 School Calendar to be approved at the February meeting.
The board also approved the Pay Equity Report for 2022 and made School Board Committee assignments.
