Owners: John and Jackie Bolvin
Opened: John and Jackie purchased land on Maus Drive and built and began their business in October 1987. In 1998 Jackie went to work for the Kimball School District where she is still employed. In 2004 we expanded the store, more than doubling our space.
Our Employees: We employ six people, John included, and with Jackie doing the book work. Two of our employees have been with us for more than 15 years.
What do we do? We sell off-sale liquor, wine and spirits.
What sets us apart: We are a local community business, and we conduct business with friendly and personal service to everyone.
Our customers: Our customers are the local community, lake people, and those passing by on Highways 15 and 55.
Community involvement: John is a member of the Wat-Kim-Valley VFW Post 5460. He has been marching with the POW/MIA Honor Guard for more than 20 years. John also serves on the Rifle Squad for Camp Ripley funeral services, and he?Äôs a member of the Kimball Lions. JB Liquor is proud to donate to most community events, organizations, and, most of all, to the Kimball schools.
