Juletta Schneider died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at her Waite Park home. She was 88.
Mass of Christian burial will at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan 15, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4 p.m. followed by parish prayers. Visitation will continue from 9-10 a.m. Monday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Rockville.
Juletta Ann (Dietman) Schneider was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Rockville to Joseph and Mary (Schaefer) Dietman. She married Gregor Schneider June 23, 1948, at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rockville. Juletta enjoyed cooking, sewing quilts, crocheting, needle point, making homemade sausage, wedding cakes, gardening, and canning. She also liked to play cards and go to the casino. Juletta had a great devotion to Mary and loved to pray the rosary. Juletta was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church and Christian Women.
Juletta was preceded in death by her daughter Judith Mae Schneider; granddaughter Amy Elaine Welle; brothers Delmar, and Harvey; and sisters Vione Dietman, and Luella Skelton.
She is survived by her husband Gregor; children Greg Jr., Elaine (and JC) Velasco, Kathy (and Howie) Syverson, JoAnn (and Chris) Lundby, Mark, Pat (and Joe) Welle, Rose (and Ed) Borman, Mary (and Brian) Feldhege; brother Wilfred (and Leona) Dietman; sisters Irene Pfannenstein, and Mary Ann Luke; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
