The 6th District American Legion Auxiliary Juniors held their Junior Fun Day Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Brainerd American Legion Post 255. This is when the juniors from the 6th District get together and meet others from the different units. They get to relax and have a fun day. Saturday, they madeone tie quilt for a veteran at the
St. Cloud VA. They also made cards for the veterans at the St. Cloud VA, thanking them for their service and wishing them a good day. They had glamour shots and really enjoyed dressing up and putting on the makeup, and then getting their pictures taken.
They had to guess how many candies in a jar, and they played bingo for prizes, which was a favorite for all. The girls danced, sang, and just had a good time.
The junior members from the Kimball American Legion Auxiliary Unit who attended were: Chloe and Piper Dragan, Amber, Brooke and Shania Mertens, Elizabeth Spoden and Amelia Zenzen.
The adults from Unit 261 American Legion Auxiliary who attended were Teresa Mertens, Abby Zenzen, Shelly Spoden, and Renee Berscheid.
