On Thursday, Feb. 9, the Junior Cubs second-, third-, fourth- and fifth-grade players performed at halftime of the varsity boys?Äô basketball game against Holdingford. The players had taken part in the Junior Cubs Saturday morning basketball program. During this program the players learned a number of different skills in basketball including ball handling, dribbling, passing, pivoting, and shooting. Members of the boy?Äôs and girl?Äôs basketball teams helped Coach Kuechle and Coach Klein teach the players during the program.
