Girls’ CMC at The Greens Golf Course on April 29
The Girls’ K-EV-W team had its ups and downs at Howard Lake. Missy Niesen shot a respectable 54, followed by Sone Bengston and Annie Niesen with 64, and Marlene Kopke with 72. The team finished sixth out of eight teams. Amanda Tanner from B-B-E and Logan Gerleman from Rockford tied for medalist honors, both shooting a 46. Pierz took first for a team.
Boys’ CMC at Boulder Ridge Golf Course on April 30
Kevin VanVleet shot a season best of 42, and Dan Gohman went four over on the last two holes to shoot a 43. Luke Linz shot a 46, and Shawn Dahlinger shot a 47. The team finished fifth out of eight teams, and they were just one stroke out of fourth place. Martin Gjerde from B-B-E shot an even par 35 to win medalist honors. B-B-E also took first as a team.
Girls’ CMC at Prairie View Golf Course on April 30
Tabitha Maus shot a season best with a 47, and finished in the top ten. Missy Niesen shot a 54, Marlena Kopke shot a 59, and Annie Niesen shot a 60. The team finished fourth out of eight teams. Logan Gerleman from Rockford and Diane Stangl from Pierz tied for medalist honors with a 45. Pierz won as a team.
