The Kimball Elementary and High School Choirs will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thurday, April 1, at Kimball Area High School. The 50-member elementary choir will begin the concert, followed by the junior-senior choir, and the award-winning soloists and ensemble groups that competed in the state vocal competition. The concert will end with a mass-choir number sung by all three choirs. Twelve students received ratings awards as follows: o State superior rating: Logan Bever, McCade Libby, Shawn Kendrick and Al Holker. o State excellent rating: Jessica Felegy, Kayla Hinkemeyer, McCade Libby and Kelsey Hanson. o Sub-section superior rating: Logan Bever, McCade Libby, Shawn Kendrick, Al Holker, Jessica Felegy, Kayla Hinkemeyer and Kelsey Hanson. o Sub-section excellent rating: Alyssa Rose, Logan Bever, Ali Bonham, Jessica Felegy, Whitney Gunnerson, Kelsey Hanson, Kayla Hinkemeyer, Al Holker, Shawn Kendrick, McCade Libby, Megan Mackereth and Kayla Walker. The public is cordially invited to attend this free concert. The choirs are under the direction of Arlene Sands, Kimball area vocal music teacher.
