KAHS Prom preparations being made

·

Spring is here, even if snow is still is the forecast. And as the sun shines for longer periods each day, the bright colors of the season will soon be in full display. Yes, the flowers will be in bloom, and so too will be the young ladies and gentlemen as they prepare for another
spring tradition: Prom.

The 2014 Prom Committee is hard at work creating decorations and finalizing plans for this year?Äôs Prom. This year, the junior class is taking it back to the time of the flapper girl and the speak easy, back to classy 1920s of ?ÄúThe Great Gatsby.?Äù

The 2014 Junior-Senior Prom ?ÄúTwenties Takeback?Äù will be Saturday, May 17, held in the Wirth Gym at Kimball Area High school. Grand March will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public with a $1/adult admission asked at the door. Monies collected for Grand March will help fund the festivities.

The prom committee is still seeking donations for door prizes for prom-goers, such as  coupons, services, products, or gift cards. Any contributors will gain complementary admission to Grand March and will get a special ?Äúshout out?Äù during the event. For contributions or questions, contact Prom advisor Melissa Zoffka at (320) 398-7700,
ext 158, or (320) 217-4663.
