The Kimball Music Department will present their Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, in the KAHS gym. A vocal prelude will begin at 7 p.m.
Included in this concert will be the Jr. and Sr. high bands, the Sr. high choir and many soloists.
I would like to invite alumni who sang ?ÄúThe Phantom of the Opera?Äù to join us singing this powerful number in the concert. This would be very special to me. We will practice in the choir room at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend this concert. It will be spectacular. The choir received a State Superior rating in large group contest which is the highest possible rating. Choir and soloists are judged on Tone Quality, Intonation, Rhythm, Balance, Blend, Interpretation, Diction, Appearance and Facial expression. They have to receive a Superior in Subsection in order to advance to State Section. The ratings are Fair, Good, Excellent and Superior.
Soloist award winners are pictured, Sophia Walz received a score or 39, 40 is a perfect score.
