The Dairy Linear Evaluation team from Kimball Area High School (KAHS) took first place in the Ridgewater College Skills Fest in February. In the Dairy Linear Evaluation team event, students are bused to a dairy farm to evaluate one class of 10 Holstein dairy cows. Members of the KAHS team were Ben Stockinger, Whitney Thielman, Melanie Massmann, Al Holker and Drew Beck. As first-place winners, each of these students received a plaque and a $200 scholarship to be used at either of the Ridgewater College campuses in any area of study.
