Kenny Hoefer of Annandale died on Jan. 10, 2003, while visiting family in Rathdrum, Idaho. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Kimball. A viewing and remembrance service will be from 4:30-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Kenneth A. Hoefer was born on June 18, 1932, to Edward and Anna (Mertens) Hoefer. He was raised and lived in the Kimball/ Annandale area, and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren; he also enjoyed carpentry, fishing and hunting. Hoefer was preceded in death by both parents, a daughter, grandson Brandon, and one sister and one brother. He is survived by his children: Debbie (and Dan) Snabb of Annandale; Ron Hoefer of Annandale; Kevin Hoefer of Littleton, Co.; Denise (and Rick) Leffler of Watertown, Minn.; Dawn (and Duane) Nightingale of Rathdrum, Idaho; Brian and Craig Hoefer, both of Woodinville, Wash.; 23 grandchildren and their families; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Kevin and Craig Hoefer, Allen Kuhn, Dan Snabb, John Robasse and Don Snow. Honorary pallbearers will be his five children along with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Music will be provided by Duane Nightingale.
