Kevin Roy Gunnerson was born June 30, 1954, to Marvin and Vivian (Schmidt) Gunnerson in St. Cloud. Kevin grew up in the Annandale and South Haven area where he lived his entire life. He attended and graduated from Kimball Area High School with the Class of 1973. On Nov. 2, 1973, he was united in marriage to Nancy Walkley at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball. Together they made their home in rural South Haven along witht heir children. For 34 years, Kevin worked as a heavy equipment operator for C.S. McCrossan, retiring July 1, 2015.

Throughout his life, Kevin embraced the simple joys that life offered. Often found in the comfort of his home, he had a special fondness for watching Westerns. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and the camaraderie shared among family. His visits to the Swappers Meet were more than just hunting for treasures: they were a chance for Kevin to visit with friends.

Kevin was preceded by his parents Vivian Vadner and Marvin “Duce” Gunnerson, and infant son Jesse.
