KFD serves up 45th annual Pancake BreakfastFree Access

On a sunny and relatively warm day after yet another winter storm, crowds turned up for the Kimball Firemen’s Relief Association 45th annual Pancake Breakfast Sunday morning, April 2, at the Kimball Area Fire Hall. Members of the Kimball Fire and Rescue Departments cooked breakfast for 1,358 patrons, and were helped by Auxiliary and family members, as well as community volunteers. All proceeds this year will go toward a new fire truck in 2024. A big “thank you” to our all-volunteer Fire and Rescue team, to all who helped with the breakfast, and to everyone who showed up to show their support. Staff photo by Anton Matua.
