Chiropractic offices across the nation will celebrate the second annual “Kids Day America” Saturday, Sept. 18. The Chiropractic Performance Center in Sauk Rapids, along with the Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Education, Sauk Rapids Jaycees and Cellular 2000 will sponsor the health, safety and environmental awareness event at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School. The function will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some of the activities planned include digital fingerprinting and photos by the Jacob Wetterling Foundation, spinal screenings by the Chiropractic Performance Center, fire safety demonstrations by the Sauk Rapids Fire Department, and Internet safety by the Sauk Rapids-Rice Community Education. There will also be scheduled appearances by Ms. Sauk Rapids, Smokey the Bear, the Fighting Scots Football team and many more. All proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Club and Junior Achievement.
