Kimball Area Library events
On Saturday, April 26, nine women were at the Make a Wreath event hosted by Ronda Sommers. We all went home pretty excited with our wreaths for our homes.
Coming up is the ECFE & Me at the Library starting May 14 from 10-10:30 a.m., with activities, song singing, and reading a different book for each month. This is for children ages birth to 5 with a caregiver.
Monday May 12, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. classical guitar stylings of New York-born Jeff Bianchi brought to us by the Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.
Watch for our summer events and the upcoming Summer Reading Challenge “Level Up at the Library.” More information coming up in the next article; you can also go to Griver.org, type in the Kimball branch in the search, and there you will find all our events. Our events cater to children younger than preschool all the way to adults and “mature” adults.
Reminder to all that the Kimball Friends of the Library will have their yearly book sale May 16, 2-
5 p.m., and May 17, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. We are collecting good used books from April 1 until May 14 at the library. Please no cookbooks, VHS, textbooks, or magazines.
If you would like to support our local library, the Kimball Area Friends of the Library are always looking for new members, you can be as involved or uninvolved as you choose. Yearly membership dues help support the many activities and needs of the Kimball Library. Pick up an application at the library or, if you are a current member, stop by and drop your dues off or mail to Kimball Area Friends of the Library, P.O. Box 540, Kimball MN 55353.
