Kimball Area Library March news

·

Kimball Area Library hours are: Mondays 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 2-7 p.m.; Wednesdays 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 3-6 p.m.; Fridays 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 2-5 p.m.; and Saturdays 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Our local library right here in Kimball is a valuable and “free” public resource for so much more than books. You can come as you are, you don’t have to spend money to be there, and you actually save money by checking out books rather than purchasing them. It’s convenient to order your book requests online at griver.com, and you will get notified when they are ready for pickup; you have 10 days to pick them up.

We have quiet sitting areas for reading the current newspaper every day, do Internet work, browse the magazines, visit with friends, choose a new book, read, and bring along your cup of coffee.

If you like to use your kindle or audio books, download Libby which is a free app with access to digital content through the library like eBooks, audiobooks, etc.

You can also go to our local library’s web page for upcoming events and sign-up. Our events cater to children younger than preschool all the way to adults and “mature” adults. You might meet a new friend or even an old friend.
