Kimball baseball team wins walk-off thriller in double-header split

The Cubs played a double-header against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa last Friday, May 5, but darkness limited game two to just six innings. Still, Kimball took game one, 11-10, and in thrilling fashion. They tallied 10 of their 11 runs in the final two stanzas to complete the comeback. In the sixth inning, Nick Gustafson cleared the bases with a triple, en route to a Cubs?Äô six-run inning. Kimball received a gift error by the Jaguars in the bottom of the seventh, and Kimball scored the winning run as a result. The sun set on game two, causing a stoppage of play in the sixth inning, deeming BBE winners, 8-7. Kimball scored all seven of their runs in the first two innings and that would be the entirety of their scoring.
