In their final home game of the season, the Cubs were in a position to climb-up the conference-standings ladder, as they took-on Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City last Thursday, Feb. 17. However, it was the Falcons who took control of the contest and emerged victorious, 68-56 (ACGC led at the half, 37-25).
“We had a great opportunity to move-up in the conference standings and blew it. We struggled shooting from the field and really had a tough time making free-throws. ACGC played harder than we did and wanted the win more. It was a tough night in the last home game of the year,” said Coach Jay Klein.
