A special planning commission meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Tammy Konz. Councilmembers present: Tammy Konz, DuWayne Orbeck, Chris Jansky, Eric Loewen and Joe Krippner. Councilmembers absent: None. Others present: Cynthia Smith Strack and Steve Moline. Cynthia Smith Strack of Municipal Development Group, Inc. presented her proposal for planning consultant. They work in small communities with Alexandra being their largest community. Areas covered were: one year time line for completion of comprehensive plan, zoning and ordinance recodification, grant writing, planning and development, mapping, capital improvement, EDA and redevelopment, core group, study prior documents, water/sewer/ policing, traffic, growth and do a drive around of the community. Steve Moline of Pettipiece Assoc. Inc. presented his proposal for planning consultant outlining work plan, community survey and interviews, demographics, growth, project time line, project cost, mapping, zoning and grants.
