Kimball Area High School’s Class of 1998 celebrated with a “Cheers to 20 Years” class reunion Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Hayloft in Luxemburg. The tables were decorated with candy and mason jars that were filled with yellow & white flowers and were wrapped in black & white student pictures from elementary yearbooks. Yearbooks from their school days were scattered throughout the room along with nostalgic homecoming buttons and old uniforms. A social was followed by a chicken dinner with candy treats and a three-tier cake for dessert. Everyone had a great time swapping stories of where life has taken them since high school and catching up on everyone’s busy lives chasing kids and careers, but most of all the former classmates were happy to spend time with old friends again!
Twenty-eight of the ninety classmates were in attendance including Jim and Darcy (Dahnke) Konz, Chris Wotrang, Adam Stelten, Becky (Landwehr) Rouhoff, Jackie (Serbus) Murski, Beth (Seckinger) Short, Chris Peterson, Jake Fischer, Rhonda Landwehr, Amber (Mauer) Fennell, Heather (Gohman) Griess, Annie (Fox) Holtz, Heather (Piepkorn) Woodlee, Jesse Landwehr, Jackie (Stelten) Penticoff, Kody Schmidt, Aaron Hennen, Levi Scheeler, Jessica (Holte) Huls, Terese (Rosha) Haus, Christy (Finger) Strong, Kathy (Schreiner) Kunkel, Brent Massmann, Christy (Zutz) Newman, Jackie (Anderson) Busse, Emily (Burblies) Schaefbauer, and DJ Steward.
