Kimball clean-up day

Kimball will be having their ninth annual “clean-up day” from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, May 8. The site will be the A.M. Maus parking lot. Let’s clean-up the Kimball area Items that will be taken are as follows. o Household hazardous waste – free of charge. o Appliances that will be taken are refrigerators, freezers, de-humidifiers, water heaters, range/stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, humidifiers – for a charge of $10 per item. o Air conditioners and furnaces – for a charge of $20 per item. No computer equipment this year. o Used oil – free. o Oil filters – .50 cents each. o Anti-freeze – $1. o There will be a dumpster available – the charge will be $10 per pick-up load. No hazardous waste may be put in dumpster. o Used clothing will be collected at the city hall – items will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation. Please bring clean and usable clothing only. New for 2004 o Batteries will be accepted for a charge of $1 each. o Car tires will be accepted for a charge of $2.50 each. Mark your calendars and start getting your items ready to dispose of Saturday, May 8.
