Kimball competes with One-Act Play

The selected play for the 2022 One-Act competition was “Half Pint Windom Rides West” by Luella E. McMahon.

The south subsection 18 of Section 5A competition took place at Paynesville Area High School on Saturday, Jan. 29.

The cast of the one-act play included Roslyn Stang, Todd Sipe, Carter Groinus, Mitchell Just, Maddy Groinus, Ella Myers, Kennedy Theis, Olivia Schneider, Amber Stuhr, Rachel Foos, Giulia Nini, Hailey Schneider, Lindsey Gebhardt, Elizabeth Spoden, Kati Zimmerman, and Hailee Weiman.

The synopsis by Dramatic Publishing reads: “Brave Half-Pint comes West to avenge the death of his father, Pint Windom. He foils the villain, rescues beauty in distress and wins coy Tess to the clatter of hooves and the banging of guns.
