Friday and Saturday were fairly hot and humid, and a thunderstorm passed through late Friday night (at least one tree was knocked down in Willow Creek Park overnight). But Sunday was a perfect day for a parade. The driving winds, torrential rains, and incessant lightening held off until the scheduled Kimball Days activities had finished for the night. Another Schiefelbein is queen Hayley Schiefelbein was crowned Little Miss Kimball Friday night, Aug. 10. Her princesses are Justine Miller and Bailey Berscheid. A community affair People came from far and wide to Kimball Days. Residents of Kimball and surrounding communities came out for the various festivities. Past residents came from around the state. Exhibitors and vendors too. About 90 units participated in the big parade Sunday, as hundreds of people lined the streets to watch. See color pictures of various Kimball Days events on pages 10 & 11.
