Events for the annual Kimball Days (Friday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Aug. 12) have been announced. They are: Friday, Aug. 10 • 4-8 p.m., Kimball area pictorial & artifacts history exhibit at Kimball City Hall, by The Kimball Area Historical Society. • 5-8 p.m., Supper in the Park at the Willow Creek Park Shelter, sponsored by The Kimball Area Historical Society. • 5:30 p.m., The Little Hooker state-sanctioned Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull (ages 4-11). All participants receive a can of Dr. Pepper and trophies to top winners in each age group. Food available (hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and pop), with profits going to St. Anne’s Summer Bible School. All sponsored by Kimball Wrestling Boosters. • 7 p.m., Softball Tournament-Baseball Field, sponsored by the Fire Relief Assoc. • 7:15 p.m., 2006 royalty and 2007 queen candidates parade, will start at the elementary school and end at the high school (in case of rain, parade will be cancelled). • 7:30 p.m., Queen coronation at Kimball Area High School. • 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., Karaoke at the Legion Club. • 9 p.m.-midnight, Free teen dance at Kimball Area High School. The parade is open to children pre-school and elementary age. Remember to dress in costume, it is not necessary, but it is fun to see all the costumes. Treats for everyone.
