Kimball drops double-header to EV-W

Kimball traveled to Eden Valley last Friday to take on the Eagles. Max Zoller was the starter for the Cubs, but was only able to pitch one inning. He gave up two runs and two hits. Graham Gregorson finished up by pitching three innings. Graham gave up one run on two hits. He struck out five and walked four as the Eagles walked off the Cubs 3-2.

The Cubs tallied three hits with Max Zoller getting two doubles. Garret Rosenow had the other Cub hit. Zoller and Micah -Guerrero scored the only Kimball runs. Rosenow had both RBI for the Cubs.

In the second game, Kimball jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first. EV-W answered with a run of their own and then plated five runners in the second to take a 6-3 lead. Kimball was trailing by five heading to the last inning. The Cubs were able to score four runs, but came up just short in the 7-8 loss.

Ryder Schwieters, Caden Petersen, and Tanner Kuseske each saw time on the mound for -Kimball. Max Zoller and -Schwieters led the hitting attack with two hits each. Kuseske and Zoller each scored two runs. Petersen led the team with two RBI. Kimball is now 6-5-1 on the season.
