Kimball Expo is Saturday

·

The 14th annual Kimball Area Community Expo will take place Saturday, April 1, at Kimball Area High School. There will be something for all ages. Parking and admission are always free.

This is the perfect opportunity to meet and greet the business people in our community who make things happen. These are your neighbors, friends, or perhaps even family members. They provide goods and services for our community, and they also provide local JOBS. This is not an easy thing to do, nor is it something they take lightly. These local businesses are essential for our local economy; and so are YOU, their customers. And this Expo is all about you!

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Breakfast will be available, served by Lake Union Covenant Church, from 7:30-10 a.m.

This year?Äôs featured entertainment is James Gerhodt?Äôs ?ÄúThe Remarkable Reptiles?Äù show, with 10 live reptiles. The reptile show starts at 10 a.m., in the cafetorium. Following the reptiles at 11 will be professional dancer Kailen Nelson with a breakdance performance, ending with a dance party for everyone.

Annandale Paintball will bring its brand-new tactical laser tag. There will be other activities tailored for children.

More than 40 local businesses and organizations have signed up for the Expo. There will be demonstrations, samples, drawings, and contests. Meet the people of these businesses and organizations, ask questions, see how they can improve your life.

The Expo is sponsored each year by the Kimball Area Chamber of Commerce. New members are always welcomed, and you can inquire with the volunteer greeter Saturday, April 1.
