The Kimball Express will hold their annual association meeting at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, at Kimball City Hall. This meeting is open to the public. Its purpose is to elect seven board members for the upcoming year and give any community members the op-portunity to sign up and become a member. There are no membership dues. The purpose behind the Kimball Express Baseball Association is to build a structured foundation for the team and have community members who wish to become involved play more of a role in what goes on with Kimball baseball. The Kimball Express strongly urges anyone who may be interested in serving on the board or who would just like to be a member to attend the meeting. Anyone who has children who have an interest in baseball should attend. One of the main purposes of this association is to make Kimball a baseball community. So, get involved and show your support for baseball in Kimball. Why would you want to be a member of the Kimball Express Baseball Association? If you have children growing up and would like to see them one day play on a beautiful baseball diamond and represent the City of Kimball with pride, join the association and you will have a hand in making that reality. Another reason to join is just being involved in America’s pastime in the Kimball community, helping with fundraisers on a volunteer basis and being part of the community. Again, there are no membership dues.
