The Cubs chalked-up back-to-back wins with a 28-20 decision over Parkers Prairie  Friday,
Sept. 14. Coming off last week’s thrashing of BBE, Kimball appears to have everyone on the same page and working toward the same goals.

“Tucker Schultz is playing like an elite athlete right now. Adding three more rushing touchdowns to his stat-sheet, he has put together a great first three games of the year,” said Coach Johnny Benson. Schultz might have had one of his worst passing games (10 for 19 and 115 yards) but he still, as great athletes do, found another way to get the job done, rushing for 120 yards and posting three touchdowns.

“When the chips are down, we are going to put the team on Tucker’s shoulders,” added coach. Zack Holtz and Jeremy Zabinski dominated the night, blocking from their running back positions, and both played outstanding defense. “Jeremy and Zack never come off the field. We ask them to do just about everything and they have stepped up huge for us,” Coach Benson said. Continuing with accolades, Benson said that Thomas Pearson is the best player in the league right now, and that there is not really a close second. Pearson snatched two interceptions and racked up 85 yards on 7 receptions, in the victorious team effort. “Thomas is everything we could ever hope for in an athlete. We are really lucky to have him!” exclaimed Coach Benson.
