Kimball outlasted a good Upsala/Swanville squad, 27-20, in the Section 4A quarterfinals on Tuesday, Oct. 23. The Cubs took a 19-14 halftime advantage to the ultimate victory and set up a semifinal battle with Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on Saturday.
