Kimball Girl Scouts held their Court of Awards Ceremony at the Kimball Elementary School Monday, May 17. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors Scouts and their families enjoyed a pot luck supper followed by the flag ceremony. Each girl named their favorite activity of the year. Some of the most frequently mentioned favorites were skiing, rollerskating, the Monticello sleepover and the tour of Images by Marguerite. The try-its, badges, and Interest Project Awards were handed out to girls who earned them. Next came the bridging part of the ceremony in which some girls were welcomed to the next level of scouts. Three girls in the Junior Troop were awarded their five-year service pins. They have been together since they were Daisies in kindergarten.
