Have you ever damaged the tee box, fairway or putting green during a round of golf? Driving around the golf course this week I was amazed by all the divots (in fairways) and ball markes (on the greens) I saw. This is a common occurrence for most golfers but there are etiquette rules (or common sense) that can be done.
If you hit a divot on a fairway, replace it. If you leave a ball mark on a green, repair it. I will be sharing with you the ways to repairing these divots.
Thank you Kimball Golf Club Grounds Crew (Dave, Chuck, Jeff, James, Skyler, Brandon and James) for keeping our course in great shape. Next time you make a divot, think of all the hard work that goes into keeping Kimball Golf Club beautiful.
Congratulations to the Kimball Lions for having a great scramble golf event Saturday June 10. First place went to Clear Lake Lions (Pat Arnold, Felix Schmiesing, Larry Moe, Lance Moe and Lee Moe). Second place went to Lips and Sara Stelton, Randy and Mary Tonnell, and Dan Winter. Third place went to Brian and Kris Becker, Chris Jansky, Sarah Jansky, and Jason Spaulding.
