Kimball Golf Club getting ready to close for season.
Hole in One
Congratulations! Diana Swanson of Watkins shot a ?ÄúHole in One?Äù at KGC hole #6 on Sunday, Oct. 25.
Thanks to our volunteers and KGC staff
As the golf season comes to a close soon, I want to thank all who made this season a great success.
Long-time dedicated employee Sandi Mackereth (Kimball) was in the clubhouse along with John Gard (Cold Spring), Marcia Mahlum (Kimball) and Zach Boser (St. Cloud and Kimball High School Teacher). Beverage Cart and Outside Grill was Katelyn Parsons (Kimball) and Hannah Serbus (Kimball).
David Deem (Buffalo) Course Superintendent led our golf course grounds crew to one of the best course conditions in years. That is a quote of many, many golfers this season. Chuck Kuechle (Kimball) maintenance, Brian Kuechle (Kimball) rough mowing, Keith Burfeind (Kimball) fairway mowing, James Robinson (Kimball) green tees and trimming, Brandon and Skyler Schiefelbein (Kimball) greens, cup cutting and sand bunkers. Also among the volunteers was Bob
Vossen who helped with cleaning up and cutting down trees, Duane Finger (Kimball) who helped with electrical, and Marly Kramer (Watkins) who helped with plumbing.
The Clubhouse will close Sunday, Nov. 1. Thank you to the community and members for all of your support in making 2015 a great year. We are looking forward to a spectacular 2016 season.

Golf – the game for life.
Golfers were still out playing the beautiful Kimball Golf Club course Saturday afternoon, Oct. 24 when this photo was taken. The grass is still green, after the rains, and the trees are gold and red and orange in the background, reflecting into the pond. Staff photo by Jean Doran Matua.
