Kimball has hired a new softball coach for this spring. Roger Utecht has been hired as head coach. Coach Utecht has experience with the summer softball program. He has organized and coached many levels of summer softball programs in the past and is excited to start coaching this next spring. Roger has also been very involved with our sports boosters in the past few years.
Destiny Smith will be our assistant softball coach. Coach Smith graduated from Dassel Cokato High School. Destiny then played college softball at Central Lakes College in Brainerd where they competed two years at the national tournament. We are excited for the new coaches to start working with girl’s softball this spring. Softball practice opens March 11 and Kimball’s first game is April 2.
