Kimball Area High School hosted its first track meet on their brand-new track Monday afternoon, April 17. Before the meet began, a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to inaugurate the track. Representatives of the Eden Valley-Watkins/Kimball track team lined up before the ribbon was cut. The old, bituminous track was too long and could not be used for meets or practices.
