The Kimball Kruisers had their monthly meeting April 13 at Stanley Eddy Park. Before the meeting, we did a nature scavenger hunt. Some of the things we looked for were a bug, a fallen branch, a bird, and a squirrel. During the meeting, our roll-call question was, “Would you rather be as big as a giant or as small as an ant?”
We discussed the Morris Regional 4-H camp opportunity and the many summer day camps offered through Meeker County 4-H. We also talked about the Animal ID deadline for the fair and the county fair registration.
After the meeting was over, we roasted marshmallows.
Our next 4-H meeting will be in the Kimball Area High School cafeteria at 5 p.m. on May 4. We are always looking for new members to join us!
