The Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club wrote spring Haiku poems for Hilltop Health Care Center residents on April 2 at their monthly meeting held at the Kimball Public Library. The 4-H’ers decorated their poems and the frames to display them. One of the club goals this year was to do a service project for Hilltop in Watkins. It was a fun activity to get everybody thinking about spring.
Congratulations to our club members Raya Scott and Frances Geurts who were members of the Junior Horse Project Bowl Team that placed second in the State Bowl competition.
We celebrated National Volunteer Week April 16-22. We thank all of our volunteers in Kimball and throughout Meeker County. We could not have a successful 4-H program without all of our wonderful volunteers.
