The Kimball Kruisers 4Hers celebrated Halloween at their November meeting. Submitted photo.
What are you thankful for? The Kimball Kruisers are thankful for family, food, shelter, county fair, and friends. Sunday, Nov. 4, the Kimball Kruisers held their meeting at the Kimball Area High School.
Old business discussed was Meeker County Awards Celebration, where many of our 4-Hers received awards. Current members must re-enroll by Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019 if they would like to receive scholarships. “Thank you” to the community of Kimball for donating 150 pounds of food for the Trick or TrEATing Food Shelf event.
Are you interested in dairy/dairy goat, dog, general livestock, horse, poultry, rabbit or wildlife? Then a 4-H animal bowl team is for you. The bowl teams compete in animal knowledge competitions. Cookies are the next topic for the Kimball Kruisers Dec. 2 meeting at 6 p.m., at the Kimball Area High School. Bring two dozen of your favorite cookies and you may be the cookie challenge champ. After the meeting, Madilyn told the 4Hers about the quilt and photos she took to the county fair.
