July 17, 2007 St. Joesph 1 – Kimball 5 Kimball Legion played their best game of the year. The defense kept everything in front of them and players were making plays on tough balls hit hard. Travis Rose pitched six good innings only giving up one run on five hits and Tommy Linn came in in the seventh to get the save. We played very well, guys put down SAC bunts and Hits when needed and we ran the bases well. Tommy Linn started on the mound allowing four runs on six hits and Bobby Arens came in in the fifth to close out the game. Kimball advances to the secound round of Playoffs, were they are garunteed two more games and a chance to go to State in Legion Baseball.
