July 12, 2007 Albany 16 – Kimball 6 Albany blew the game open with an eight-run third and Kimball was unable to pull back in. Albany 9-0 in Legion play came in and played good baseball, Kimball trailed by two after two innings and kept it close until the third. Although they did draw five walks. They were unable to bring them home in the first round of the Paynesville Tournament. Travis Rose pitched a complete game, stiking out six. Kimball scored six runs in the top of the fifth to give them the ten-run rule win. Sauk Centre hit the ball well and hit it to the gaps in the outfield to bring home runs. Matt Dingmann came in to shut down Sauk Centre, allowing no runs in the remaining four innings.
